Sissy was created in 2023 by Célia De Coster.
A sunglasses addict herself, she decided it was time to create her own fashion brand reflecting a unique, offbeat universe: her own.
Passionate about fashion ever since she was a little girl, it was when she went to fashion week events in New York City that she realized that sunglasses weren't just a silly accessory, they were almost an outfit designed for them! Gone are the days when sunglasses were worn only in summer or on vacation. Today, we wear them even when going out in the evening.

So why not create a brand with unique sunglasses? They'd be hand-finished with rhinestones, pearls and resins. In short, everything Célia has always loved, simply everything that sparkles! After all that thought, she simply said to herself, "Here we go!" It's my turn to make my mark on the fashion world!

Sissy simply comes from her nickname in English. Today, we use this name to create quality sunglasses, hand-finished and decorated with rhinestones, pearls, gels and resins. They are limited in quantity, and the fact that everything is hand-finished makes each pair unique, because no one else will have exactly the same pair of sunglasses, down to the last detail. Isn't that nice?
